Lac de Gers

Lac de Gers is a mountain lake located in Samoëns that sits at high elevation surrounded by steep peaks and open grassland. The water creates a mirror-like surface reflecting the surrounding terrain and mountains.

The water level changes by roughly 2 meters across seasons, which means the shoreline looks different throughout the year. These natural fluctuations make each visit potentially reveal a different view of the lake's edges.
