Regence plage

Regence Plage is a private beach along the Mediterranean coast featuring comfortable sunbeds and a restaurant serving regional specialties during warm months. The space stretches along the Promenade des Anglais and provides shade through sun umbrellas and palm trees.

The beach was established more than three decades ago and has since become part of the Radisson Blu hotel on the famous waterfront promenade. The venue has remained a steady presence in this area along the coast.

The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients from the Nice region, including Alziari olive oils and seasonal vegetables, to prepare authentic Mediterranean dishes. The kitchen reflects regional culinary traditions and combines seafood with classic French cooking techniques.

The beach is easily reached on foot or by public transport from the city center, with routes running directly along the coast. The best time to visit is from April to October, when the water is warm and the restaurant operates daily.

The beach sits along one of Europe's longest waterfront promenades and offers rare views across the bay toward nearby hills. Visitors often discover small pebbled areas beside the main sunbathing zones that see fewer crowds.
