Batumi State Maritime Academy

The Batumi State Maritime Academy is a specialized educational institution near the Black Sea coast offering training in navigation, ship operations, and marine engineering. The school originated in 1929 as a maritime technical training institution serving Georgia's seafaring communities. It underwent major restructuring in 1994 when it became the Batumi State Maritime Academy with its current academic framework.
