Rike Park

Rike Park sits on the left bank of the Mtkvari River and features walking paths, fountains, and pathways that form Georgia's map when viewed from above. The space includes playgrounds and various public areas designed for leisure and exploration.

The park was established in 2010 as part of Tbilisi's urban renewal project and transformed a former industrial area into a public recreational space. This redevelopment marked a turning point in reshaping the city's riverside quarter.

The park serves as a venue for music performances, art exhibitions, and seasonal festivals that showcase Georgian traditions year-round. Visitors encounter local artists and cultural programs that shape the rhythm of community life in the city.

The park is accessible from Old Town via the Bridge of Peace, and a cable car connects to Narikala Fortress. Wear comfortable shoes as there are many paths to explore and the area is expansive.

The park features an interactive musical fountain, oversized chess sets, and a white grand piano available for public use. Musical moments happen spontaneously when visitors engage with these installations and play.
