Ejmiatsin Church

Ejmiatsin Church is an Armenian place of worship located in the Avlabari district, marked by a central dome rising above traditional brick walls. The structure features three doorways opening into a single main hall with restrained interior detailing typical of Armenian ecclesiastical buildings.

This church was built between 1805 and 1809 as part of the Armenian religious presence in Tbilisi during that era. The structure received major modifications in the mid-1800s when a dome and decorative exterior features were added to strengthen its appearance.
