Abudelauri Lakes, Alpine lakes in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Georgia
Abudelauri Lakes are three alpine waters lying at the base of Chiukhi Massif in the eastern Caucasus range at approximately 2812 meters elevation. The waters display varying colors - white, blue, and green - depending on mineral content and depth.
These lakes formed through glacial processes that shaped the Caucasus landscape over thousands of years, carving deep basins that later filled with meltwater. The movement of ice across the mountainside left lasting impressions on the terrain.
