Admission for master's programs opens in November, with fees for non-EU and non-EEA students ranging from 12,000 to 20,000 euros. The campus sits in Otaniemi, easily reachable by public transport from Helsinki.
Alvar Aalto, whose name the university carries, graduated from Helsinki University of Technology, one of the predecessor institutions. Some of his buildings on campus still serve as teaching spaces and meeting places today.
