The hall is named after Croatian composer Vatroslav Lisinski and reflects his importance to the country's musical life. It regularly hosts performances by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and the Croatian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra.
The lobby features extensive exhibition areas to explore, and the venue offers a varied program throughout the year. Classical concerts, operas, ballet performances, and international events regularly take place here.
The venue hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1990 and attracted millions of visitors in its first three decades. This significance shaped its role as an international arts center.
