Zaton Obrovački is a mountain settlement located on the southern slopes of Velebit in the Zadar region. The community spreads across several small hamlets and dispersed houses typical of this highland terrain.
The settlement underwent administrative changes in 2014 when the municipality of Jasenice was divided into three separate units. This reorganization helped improve local governance and representation in the highland area.
