Savoy Castle, Baroque hotel in Ráckeve, Hungary.
The castle features ornate architectural details across its facade, with side wings completed in 1714 and a reconstructed central section following the 1814 fire.
Prince Eugene of Savoy commissioned architect Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt to design this residence in 1702, with construction finishing around 1722 on Csepel Island.
Seven original letters from architect Hildebrandt to Prince Eugene remain preserved in the Gonzaga family archives in Mantua, documenting the construction process.
The castle functions as the Savoyai Mansion Hotel, offering accommodation and reception halls for events at Kossuth Lajos utca 95 in Ráckeve.
Despite commissioning this grand residence, Prince Eugene never inhabited the castle, which later came under Crown control following his death.
