Szentendre marzipan museum

The Szamos Marzipan Museum presents an extensive collection of confectionery sculptures crafted entirely from almond paste. The displays feature detailed recreations of famous buildings, historical figures, and everyday scenes rendered in this distinctive sweet medium.

Károly Szabó founded this museum in 1994, drawing on marzipan techniques he learned in Beirut following World War II. The collaboration with chocolate master Mátyás Szamos shaped this collection into a distinctive artistic enterprise.
