Akbar Bridge

Akbar Bridge is a concrete structure in Safed that spans across the Nachal Akbara valley with five separate sections. The crossing carries Highway 89 and serves as an important link for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic through the elevated terrain.

The bridge was completed in 2002 and created a new transportation route in northern Israel. It replaced earlier infrastructure that had connected the surrounding regions.
