Nimrod Lookout, Memorial viewpoint in Rosh Pina, Israel.
Nimrod Lookout is a scenic viewpoint at about 500 meters elevation in Rosh Pina with views across several major landscapes of the region. From the platforms and terraces, you can see the Hula Valley, the Golan Heights, and the Upper Galilee Mountains.
This site was built in 2010 as a memorial to Nimrod Segev and three members of his tank crew who died in the Second Lebanon War. The memorial preserves their memory at a location with expansive views.
The gardens here mix Mediterranean plants with local herbs, creating a space where visitors naturally slow down and think about the people remembered at this site. The layout encourages you to walk among the vegetation while you move between viewpoints.
The site is located on Ha-Khalutsim Street in Rosh Pina and is freely accessible at any time of day or night. The viewing platforms are easy to reach and require no special equipment or registration.
A three-meter wind chime suspended above the wooden benches creates different sounds depending on wind strength, adding an acoustic element to your visit. This unusual feature transforms the site into more than just a visual experience.
