Muttil Grama Panchayat is a gram panchayat in Vythiri taluk, Kalpetta block, Wayanad district, Kerala, about 6 km from Kalpetta. It covers 47.37 sq km at roughly 750 m above sea level, and the Kozhikode–Mysore national highway runs through its centre. It borders Kaniyambetta to the north, Meppadi to the south, Meenangadi to the east and Kalpetta municipality to the west.

The nearest railway station and major airport are both at Kozhikode, roughly 76 km away via NH 766, a stretch with nine hairpin bends. Night travel on the eastern sector toward Mysore and Bangalore is not allowed because the road passes through Bandipur National Forest.
