The Kerala Forest Department established an eco-contact centre at Manalar Falls to protect the natural environment and monitor the surrounding Konni forest.
The Manalar-Kumbhavurutty Vana Samrakshana Samithy manages the falls while promoting environmental conservation among local communities and visitors.
Visitors can access the falls daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with entry fees of 50 rupees for adults and 25 rupees for children.
The waterfall presents carved stone steps that allow visitors to climb to its summit for panoramic views of the surrounding forest landscape.
