Cappella di San Brizio

The Cappella di San Brizio is a chapel within Orvieto Cathedral featuring wall paintings that depict biblical narratives. The works display human figures in religious scenes executed with advanced Renaissance painting methods.

Construction of the chapel began in 1396, with decoration work starting in the 1400s. The main fresco cycle was completed between 1499 and 1502 by a later artist.
