Mausoleo di Francesco Cilea, Marble mausoleum in Palmi, Italy.

The mausoleum features marble bas-reliefs depicting scenes from the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, with a bronze sculpture of Erato at its center.

The structure, inaugurated in 1962, replaced a clock tower from 1914 and now contains the remains of composer Francesco Cilea, transferred from Varazze.

The burial site pays tribute to Francesco Cilea, who composed the renowned opera Adriana Lecouvreur and served as director of Naples Conservatory.

Visitors access the elevated memorial through steps leading to a curved wall structure in Piazza Pentimalli, located in the historic center.

The crypt inside displays decorative mosaics and preserves the remains of both the composer and his spouse in a dedicated chamber.
