Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka

The Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka is a Catholic church in Ragama featuring twin towers and a cruciform design. The structure blends Western architectural elements with local building materials and design features.

After World War II, Archbishop Jean-Marie Masson received permission from Pope Pius XII to build this basilica. The project was created as an expression of gratitude for Ceylon's safety during the war.
