Vannarpannai Vaitheeswaran Temple

Vannarpannai Vaitheeswaran Temple is a Hindu shrine with multiple tower structures and spacious grounds surrounding its central sanctuary. The innermost chamber houses a lingam representation of Shiva, while the entire complex displays traditional South Indian architectural design.

The temple was founded during the Dutch colonial period when businessman Vaithilingam Chettiar established it as a place of worship. It received recognition as an archaeological protected monument in 2011.
