The museum occupies a colonial villa from 1921, displaying personal items, photographs, uniforms, and documents of General Aung San throughout two floors.
The building served as General Aung San's final residence before his assassination in 1947, marking a significant moment in Myanmar's independence movement.
The exhibits present General Aung San's life story through preserved family rooms, meeting spaces, and personal artifacts that shaped Myanmar's national identity.
Located at 15 Bogyoke Museum Lane, the museum opens from 9:30 to 16:30, except on Mondays, with entrance fees collected at the main gate.
The museum garden contains a bronze statue of General Aung San gardening and the original swimming pool where his son Aung San Lin lost his life.
