This temple originated in 1972 as a stilt structure near Tanjung Aru Beach. It relocated in 1984 to its present location in Taman Fortuna, where it has remained since.
The temple honors several deities, with Guang Ze Zun Wang as the main protector, along with Guanyin and Tua Pek Kong for spiritual guidance. Visitors notice bright painted walls depicting scenes from the lives of these figures and religious teachings.
