Nike Art Gallery, Art gallery in Lekki, Nigeria.
Nike Art Gallery is a five-story museum in Lagos that displays paintings, sculptures, and traditional Nigerian crafts. The building houses thousands of artworks distributed across multiple levels, showcasing different artistic techniques and styles.
The museum was founded in 2009 to preserve and showcase Nigerian artistic expressions. Its creation marked the beginning of an institution dedicated to documenting and promoting the country's art traditions.
The gallery displays works from artists across different regions of Nigeria, representing various craft traditions and local art forms. Visitors can see work that reflects the range of artistic practices found throughout the country.
You can visit Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. Parking is available on-site, and groups should call ahead if they want a guided tour.
Beyond the main location in Lagos, the institution operates three additional branches in other cities across the country. These separate sites help bring Nigerian art closer to people in different regions.
