Splash Battle, Water ride in Walibi Holland, Netherlands
Splash Battle is a water ride at Walibi Holland where small boats move along a track while passengers fire water cannons at each other and stationary targets. Riders get splashed in return as they navigate the course, creating an interactive experience for groups.
This water attraction was built by Italian manufacturer Preston & Barbieri and opened at Walibi Holland in 2005. It has since become one of the park's most interactive rides for groups.
This water attraction reflects the Dutch appreciation for family entertainment, combining water activities with competitive group interaction.
Children must be at least 90 centimeters (3 feet) tall to ride with an adult, and those riding alone need to reach 120 centimeters (4 feet). Be prepared to get wet, especially if you sit near other boats during the battle.
Each boat holds four passengers who work together to spray water at other boats and fixed targets along the track. This shared objective creates instant team dynamics between strangers who come together just for the ride.
