Dakneshwori Temple

Dakneshwori Temple is a Hindu shrine featuring five pagoda roofs built in traditional Nepali style, located in Pato Bazaar within Saptari District. The structures display carved wooden details and ornamental features characteristic of temples throughout this region.

The temple complex underwent major reconstruction in the 1990s, replacing its original structures with new buildings that strengthened its status as a religious center. This rebuilding effort preserved the site's importance for southeastern Nepal.

The temple draws thousands of pilgrims from Nepal and India during the Bada Dashain festival, who come to pray and perform traditional rituals at this sacred site. The place serves as a meaningful destination for personal devotion and shared faith.
