Shispare, Mountain summit in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

Shispare is a mountain summit in the Batura Muztagh range with steep rock faces and a distinctive pyramidal shape. The peak stands near the Hunza River and offers climbers multiple routes of varying difficulty levels.

The mountain was first climbed successfully in 1974 by a Polish-German expedition that reached the summit after weeks of climbing. This achievement marked an important milestone in the mountaineering history of the Karakoram.

The summit draws climbers seeking to test themselves in one of the world's most challenging mountain environments. It represents a place where mountaineering ambition and the power of high altitude converge.

The Pasu Glacier serves as a natural starting point for climbers choosing this route, and extensive porter support is necessary for the climb. The terrain is very demanding and requires solid preparation and high-altitude mountaineering experience.

The mountain displays remarkably steep topography, with the peak rising dramatically from lower elevations over short horizontal distances. This extreme steepness makes the region geologically and visually distinctive for visitors and explorers.
