Passu Cones Viewpoint, Mountain observation point in Hunza District, Pakistan.
The Passu Cones rise to 6,106 meters above sea level, forming a series of sharp mountain peaks against the backdrop of the Karakoram Range.
The location marks a former trading post along the ancient Silk Road, where merchants traveled through the Hunza Valley between China and South Asia.
The area surrounding the viewpoint contains settlements of Wakhi and Burusho communities, who maintain traditional practices in the mountain environment.
Visitors can reach the observation point via the Karakoram Highway, approximately 150 kilometers north of Gilgit, with optimal viewing conditions from May to September.
The geological formations visible from this point include the Passu Glacier and multiple peaks, shaped by millions of years of glacial movements.
