Bhutto family mausoleum, Marble mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Pakistan.
Bhutto family mausoleum is a burial monument in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, within Ratodero Taluka, Pakistan. Three white marble domes crown the structure, and calligraphic inscriptions from the Quran decorate the walls both outside and in the chambers where the graves rest.
The site began as a burial ground for Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1979 and took formal shape as a completed monument in 1993. His daughter Benazir Bhutto was laid to rest here in 2007, expanding the memorial.
The mausoleum incorporates architectural elements from Sindhi traditions, including glazed tilework patterns and frescoes that represent regional artistic expressions.
The monument sits near the town of Naudero in Larkana District, reachable by road from other parts of Sindh province. Visitors should dress modestly and keep noise low while on the grounds.
Both Pakistani prime ministers who bore the Bhutto name rest here side by side in separate chambers. Father and daughter each died violently, one by execution and the other by assassination.
