Shahpur Dam

Shahpur Dam spans 93 meters in length across the Nandana River, with a height of 26 meters and a substantial reservoir capacity of 17 million cubic meters.

The Small Dams Organization of Punjab Government commissioned this concrete structure in 1982, completing the construction in 1986 at a cost of 36.5 million Pakistani rupees.

The dam location near Kala Chitta Range serves as a meeting point for residents of surrounding communities who gather for outdoor recreation and social activities.

Located 45 kilometers from Islamabad and 8 kilometers north of Fateh Jang, the dam provides irrigation water to agricultural lands throughout Attock District.
