Park Ratuszowy in Kraków

Park Ratuszowy spans 2.2 hectares with intersecting alleys, wide sidewalks, and numerous benches situated among diverse plant species and trees.

The park emerged in the 1960s on land originally designated for a town hall, after the plans for the building were abandoned following Nowa Huta's incorporation into Kraków.

Seventeen benches in the park display literary dedications to Polish writers and poets, including Stefan Żeromski and Tadeusz Konwicki, as part of the City Codes project.

The park borders Róż Avenue to the west, Przyjaźni Avenue to the south, Gardy-Godlewskiego Street to the east, and Rydza-Śmigłego Street to the north.

A limestone sculpture titled 'Aquarium' by Wiesław Bielak depicts fish swimming in different directions, becoming a defining feature of the park.
