Osiedle Zgody

Osiedle Zgody is a residential district in Nowa Huta made up of fifteen apartment buildings arranged around a central area. Shops and commercial services line the perimeter, including grocery stores, hairdressers, and retail outlets that serve daily needs.

The district was built during the 1940s as part of Nowa Huta's development into a new industrial center after World War II. It was originally called Osiedle C-32 until it received its current name in 1958.

This neighborhood functions as a living community where residents gather for everyday activities and shared interests. Local football club OKS Zgodzianka and library branches reflect how people here maintain social connections through sports and public spaces.

The district has several playgrounds, sports fields, and a park that are open to explore and use. Everything here is walkable, and you can reach the main facilities without difficulty.

The district retains architecture from the socialist period, with an inactive fountain still standing as a remnant of that era. These preserved structures give visitors a glimpse into how spaces were designed and used during that time.
