Osiedle Centrum D is a residential complex in Nowa Huta featuring multiple apartment blocks with geometric forms and balanced proportions arranged across the site. The complex sits near Plac Centralny and provides direct access to public transportation, shops, and schools within walking distance.
The district was built between 1950 and 1956 as part of post-war reconstruction plans for Nowa Huta following the Second World War. An additional residential block was added during the 1970s to accommodate growing population needs.
The neighborhood housed the first commercial pavilion of Nowa Huta, known as Bambo, which served as a social meeting point where residents gathered for refreshments. This venue shaped the daily rhythm of the district's early residents.
