The Saint Basil the Great Church stands at 198 Calea Victoriei, featuring a triconch plan with three apses and an octagonal bell tower.
The initial wooden structure from the early 19th century was destroyed by the 1838 earthquake and rebuilt in 1847 under Prince Gheorghe Bibescu's reign.
The church maintains partnerships with local kindergartens, organizing religious education sessions and hosting carol concerts during Christmas and Easter celebrations.
The church provides religious services including weddings, baptisms, house blessings, and holds regular masses under the guidance of Parish Priest Dr. Cristian Trandafir.
Since 2011, the church houses a fragment of the Holy Cross and maintains a collection of saint relics, including those of Saint Trifon and Saint Haralambos.
