Dosoftei house, Literary museum in Iași, Romania.

The Dosoftei House features three facades with arched windows and an open porch supported by six tall stone columns against massive walls.

Built in 1677 on the former cemetery of Saint Nicolae Domnesc Church, this structure became the location of the second printing press in Iași.

The museum exhibits rare manuscripts, including the first Romanian language liturgy printed in 1679 and early religious texts from Metropolitan Dosoftei.

Located on Anastasie Panu Street, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, with separate fees for admission and photography.

The building remains the sole survivor of the ancient trade quarter of Saint Friday, which once extended from the Palace to the Central Market.
