The waterfalls on the Kyngarga River form a series of twelve cascades flowing through a narrow canyon with varying heights. The main cascade drops about seven meters and creates the most dramatic section of this succession.
The waterfalls became known after the Arshan resort opened in the early 20th century and made the area accessible to visitors. Since then they have remained an important feature on the region's walking routes.

The first waterfall sits about 1.5 kilometers from Arshan resort and can be reached by a well-marked path. A wooden viewing platform positioned high above the water offers the best vantage point for observing the cascades.
The distinctive fan-shaped waterfall develops as water flows over angular rock formations and splits into multiple separate streams. This pattern repeats at different points along the river, making the landscape visually unusual.
