Al Zulfi governorate

Al Zulfi governorate spans across central Saudi Arabia, located 260 kilometers northwest of Riyadh with a population of 69,294 residents according to the 2010 census.

The region traces its origins to the third century when it was called zulifit or alkrm, established by the Banu Hanifa and Banu Tamym tribes.

The governorate maintains traditional Saudi administrative structures with appointed governors and deputy governors overseeing local administration and community affairs.

The area connects to major transportation routes through Roads 418 and 535, which link to Highway 65 between Riyadh and Buraidah.

Al Zulfi features the Samnan Valley, Al-Thoyr sand dunes, Al-sabalh Woods to the north, and the Al-Kasar Rain lake in its natural landscape.
