Medusa Glass Art Museum

The museum displays 4,000 artifacts across six rooms in a restored traditional building, including ancient glass pieces, bronze figures, and precious metalwork.

Opened in June 2008, the museum houses artifacts from Early Bronze Age, Roman period, and Islamic era, including 150,000-year-old fossils and ancient coins.

The museum maintains traditional craftsmanship through workshops featuring Syrian glass blowers, Syriac silversmiths, and local artisans practicing Kutnu weaving.

Located near Gaziantep Castle, the museum offers free admission and includes five exhibition halls plus a dedicated room for creating artifact replicas.

Seventy percent of the collection consists of glass items, including Roman perfume bottles, tear jars, and Phoenician glass containers with varied colors.
