Shigang District

Shigang District is an administrative area in Taichung City featuring rolling hills, valleys, and terraced farmland. Rice paddies and fruit orchards make up much of the landscape, with rural villages nestled throughout the terrain.

The district was established as an administrative area in 2010 when it was incorporated into Taichung City as a special municipality. This reorganization marked a shift in how the rural region was governed and developed.
