Neimen District, Administrative district of Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Neimen District extends across 95 square kilometers of mountainous terrain, with the Qishan River flowing through its varied landscape with minimal flat surfaces.
Following Taiwan's transfer from Japanese control to the Republic of China in 1945, Neimen transformed from a rural township into a district of Kaohsiung City in 2010.
The district maintains eighteen distinct villages, each contributing to local traditions through temples, festivals, and agricultural practices that shape community gatherings.
Local transportation networks connect residents and visitors to neighboring areas through regular bus services, while the district offers educational facilities including Shih Chien University.
