Zhú fú rén Temple, Buddhist temple in Wanhua District, Taiwan
The temple features traditional Chinese architectural elements with wooden carvings, stone sculptures, and decorative roof tiles displaying religious symbolism throughout the structure.
Established in 1738 by settlers from Fujian province during the Qing dynasty, the temple underwent reconstruction after experiencing damage from earthquakes and World War II bombings.
The temple contains altars dedicated to multiple deities including Guanyin and Mazu, representing the combined religious practices of Buddhism and Chinese folk beliefs.
Visitors can reach the temple through the Taipei Metro by getting off at Longshan Temple Station and following the marked signs through Wanhua District.
Local practitioners at the temple maintain daily chanting ceremonies and offer fortune-telling services while vendors sell traditional herbs and religious materials.
