Love Pier

Love Pier is a walkway in Yancheng District that extends into the harbor and features a large white sail structure visible from above. The walkway is wide and open, offering views of docked ships in various sizes, flying seagulls overhead, and the fresh harbor breeze.

The pier began as part of the old port area but was transformed into a modern recreational space. Some structures still bear marks of its past, such as old railings and utility poles, blending the area's history with contemporary design.

The pier's name reflects a feeling of romance that locals and visitors share. Heart-shaped signs invite couples to take photos and enjoy the view, while the harbor lights and sunset create scenes that many find meaningful for special moments.

The pier is easy to reach by public transport or rental bike, especially from the nearby subway station. Many small cafes and food shops are located nearby, allowing visitors to take a break while enjoying the view.

Short boat cruises departing from here last about 20 minutes and show the city skyline from a completely different perspective on the water. This offers visitors an unexpected way to view the harbor and surrounding high-rises in a fresh light.
