Youth Park

Youth Park is a 24-hectare public space in Wanhua offering extensive sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pools, and a golf course. The park also contains reading areas and audio-visual classrooms for different activities.

The land served as a military training ground and airport during Japanese rule before being transformed into the fourth largest park in Taipei in 1975. This conversion marked a major shift in how the area was used.

The sculpture garden displays works by Taiwanese artists, blending art appreciation into the recreational setting. These pieces are scattered throughout the grounds, encouraging visitors to discover them while exploring.

The park is easy to navigate with accessible pathways leading to main facilities available year-round. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if you plan to spend several hours exploring the different areas.

The park features a space shuttle slide and exploration playground equipped with high-altitude climbing gear not found elsewhere in Taipei. These unusual attractions make it a special destination for families and adventure-seeking visitors.
