Kaohsiung Railway Workshop

Kaohsiung Railway Workshop is a large maintenance facility where train cars are repaired and serviced for the regional rail network. The complex contains specialized equipment, inspection areas, and storage spaces for the ongoing upkeep of railway operations.

Taiwan Railway Corporation established this maintenance center in 1975 to support the rapidly growing rail infrastructure in the south. The facility became the central service hub for regional train cars and railway components over the decades.
