The Kaohsiung Mosque spans three floors with a green dome and minaret, incorporating traditional Middle Eastern architectural elements throughout its 2,657 square meters.
Established in 1949 by Muslim nationalists after relocating to Taiwan, this religious center initially operated from temporary locations before settling at its current address in 1992.
The mosque contains dedicated spaces for Arabic language studies, Islamic cultural exhibitions, and prayer halls that accommodate both male and female worshippers.
Located at 11 Jianjun Road, the mosque remains open daily from 09:00 to 20:30, with convenient access from the Weiwuying MRT station.
Several Halal restaurants owned by community members operate next to the mosque, providing authentic dining options for visitors and local worshippers.
