Kaohsiung Mosque

Kaohsiung Mosque is a three-story building with a green dome and minaret that combines traditional Middle Eastern design with modern construction. Inside, the space includes prayer halls, areas for language study and cultural activities, and facilities serving both male and female visitors.

The mosque was founded in 1949 by Muslim immigrants who came to Taiwan and initially worshipped in temporary spaces. The building moved to its current permanent location during the 1990s, becoming a fixed landmark for the community.
