Fengshan Stadium, Kaohsiung City

Fengshan Stadium is a sports complex in Kaohsiung that accommodates multiple sports disciplines on a single site. The venue features a football pitch, a running track, and an indoor arena where volleyball and basketball matches take place.

The stadium opened in 1976 under the name Kaohsiung County Stadium as a regional sports venue. Major renovation work took place in 2017 to update the facilities and infrastructure.

The stadium serves as the home ground for two professional sports teams that play here regularly throughout the season. Both teams have developed loyal fan bases that make this venue an important gathering place for local sports enthusiasts.

The stadium sits about 700 meters south of Fongshan Station on the Kaohsiung MRT line, making it easily accessible by public transportation. Parking is available nearby, and the venue can accommodate around 18,000 spectators comfortably.

In 2011, the venue hosted an unusual gathering where over 1,800 knitters assembled to complete scarves together as part of a cultural festival finale. This event shows how the space serves purposes beyond conventional sports competitions.
