Ровеньковский музей «Памяти погибших»

The Rovenky Memorial Museum occupies former Gestapo prison cells in the basement of the city hospital, displaying artifacts from World War II.

The museum, established in 1967, preserves memories of Young Guard members who fought against Nazi occupation and were executed in Gremuchiy Forest.

The collection includes personal belongings of resistance members, such as Lyuba Shevtsova's scarf and Oleg Koshevoy's shirt, along with their portraits.

The museum spans seven exhibition halls, presenting photographs, documents, and items that detail local resistance movements during World War II.

The death cell where Young Guard leader Oleg Koshevoy spent his final hours contains original inscriptions made by prisoners on its walls.
