American Dream Meadowlands, Shopping center in Meadowlands Sports Complex, New Jersey, United States
American Dream Meadowlands is a shopping center in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey that combines retail space with entertainment facilities spread across more than 3 million square feet (279,000 square meters). The structure rises over multiple levels and includes both stores and leisure zones under one roof.
The development began in 2003 as Meadowlands Xanadu but stalled several times due to financial and planning difficulties. Triple Five Group took over the site in 2011 and finally opened it in 2019 under its current name.
The venue attracts families who treat it as a day destination where they can combine shopping with indoor recreation across multiple levels. Many visitors come specifically for the dining options, which range from quick bites to sit-down meals representing cuisines from around the world.
Visitors can reach the site by NJ Transit buses or drive and use the parking facilities that hold thousands of vehicles. Weekends and holidays tend to draw larger crowds, so arriving early helps reduce wait times for popular attractions.
The building houses Big Snow, an indoor ski slope that makes snow sports possible year-round. The attached water park contains a wave pool that ranks among the largest of its kind in North America.
