CitySpire

CitySpire is a modern skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan that rises 248 meters and contains 75 floors above ground. The building features an octagonal footprint with distinctive setbacks along its height, and is topped with a distinctive domed structure that gives it visual presence on the skyline.

Construction began in 1987 after receiving approval in 1984, and the building was developed next to New York City Center theater. This project became part of the transformation reshaping this section of Manhattan during that period.

The building displays modern architectural language through its stone and glass exterior, creating a distinct visual identity within the theater district. Its design contrasts with the traditional structures surrounding it and has become part of how visitors perceive this section of Manhattan.
