One57, Residential skyscraper on West 57th Street, Manhattan, United States.
One57 is a glass and aluminium residential tower with a reinforced concrete core in Manhattan that reaches 257 meters in height. The building extends across 75 floors and combines hotel operations on the lower levels with residential units above.
Extell Development began construction in 2009 and completed it in 2014. The building was among the first projects along West 57th Street that later became known as Billionaires' Row.
The lower portion of the building operates as a Park Hotel with its own entrances and guest areas, while the residences above use separate access points. This division shows how New York combines different uses within a single structure.
Eight elevators connect the 75 floors above ground and provide access to facilities such as a fitness center and swimming pool. Viewing points toward Central Park are located on the upper floors.
Two individual residences sold for 100.5 and 91.5 million dollars, representing the highest prices in Manhattan at that time. Buyers from several countries acquired units in this building.
