Juana Díaz

Juana Díaz is a municipality in southern Puerto Rico organized into thirteen districts with multiple rivers flowing through its territory. The landscape is shaped by waterways including Jacaguas, Descalabrado, Inabón, Guayo, and Cañas, which define the geography and create natural features throughout the area.

This municipality was established in 1798 originally named Ciudad de Jacagua in honor of a Taíno leader. The settlement later received its current name and grew into a significant community in Puerto Rico's southern region.

The Three Kings Day celebration on January 6 is the heart of local traditions, drawing the entire community together for festivities centered on gift-giving and family gatherings.
