The temple opened its doors on April 23, 2000, following a groundbreaking ceremony in January 1999 and construction costs reaching 2 million dollars.

This temple serves over 20,000 members from Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Missouri, offering ordinance rooms and sealing chambers for religious ceremonies.

The temple underwent extensive renovations from October 2017 to May 2019, resulting in updated interior designs with antiqued bronze lighting and art glass features.

Located at specific coordinates in Bartlett, the temple received the America in Bloom award in 2003 without entering the competition.
